Heather joined Gateway Insurance Agency in May of 2022 with over 10 years of experience working in both independent and captive agencies

Heather is licensed not only in Property and Casualty insurance but also Health and Life insurance. She currently holds appointments in North Dakota, Arizona, South Dakota, Montana, and Minnesota.

Insurance is an ever-changing market, and we know that it is not always an easy thing to understand. Heather’s goal is to educate her clients on not only about the changes in the industry, but she also listens to her clients to understand their needs and advise them on what options may be the best for their individual situation. Heather works very hard to ensure that when clients leave her office, they are in a better place than when they walked in. Customer service is very important to Heather, and she strives to make sure clients are taken care of in a friendly professional way.

Heather grew up on a farm/ranch in NW South Dakota and understands the values of hard work and dedication. She has lived in Bismarck since 1998 when she relocated there to attend College. After getting her degree in Speech Communication she worked in the Banking/Finance industry for over 15 years before making the switch to insurance. It is Bismarck where she raised her three daughters and built a home with her husband Mark. 

Heather enjoys a number of hobbies including gardening, canning, hunting, and camping. She also enjoys spending time with her family and making memories every chance she gets.

Kalyn joined Gateway Insurance Agency in June of 2025. With 17 years of customer service experience she is welcome addition to the Gateway family.

Her most recent employment was in the banking/finance industry where she gained 7 years of experience. This knowledge helped her obtain her P and C license. She enjoys helping clients with their insurance needs.

Kalyn was born in Strasburg, ND but moved to the Bismarck area when she was a child. She graduated from Bismarck High School and has lived in the Bismarck area ever since.

Kalyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys spending time out on her parent’s pontoon and enjoying time out in the sun. She also, enjoys reading, going to concerts, and spending time with her niece and nephews when she can.
